"Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8) With things changing around us every day it is comforting to know that the Lord remains the same - always. We change. people change, cities change, etc., but He is the same. Because of that we can preach and teach the same message that our founders and predecessors preached and taught. To think of those who attended this- mission through the years is an awesome thing. How many we will meet who heard the message of Jesus and became a child of God through a song, a message, a tract or Bible verse. How great is our God.
Because of that we want to keep the message of the cross going forth from the mission. The attendance has picked up with the warmer weather. We are happy for those who are trying to walk with the Lord and in their struggles we pray they learn to lean on Him and find He is strong enough to carry them through.
Sometimes things just go on and on with nothing outstanding happening and yet we know the Lord sees the hearts of individuals and He is still calling them to repentance and we can only hope and pray they will surrender to His call. We are happy for those who avail themselves to help us in different ways and anything done for the Lord will not lose its reward.
We would encourage you who read this report to keep your focus on the Lord and remember He is always the same - never changes years after years.
We have been privileged to pray for many who requested prayer whether they are here in Baltimore or elsewhere and we know the Lord is hearing and answering prayer. Join hands with us and pray for one another.
We will be in this fair city for 97 years - going toward 100. What a blessing! Pray for us.
